Simply put, Christ crucified. The Bible says that everyone deserves hell for their sins. But God doesn't give us what we deserve; instead he gives us grace—that is, his love in Jesus. Jesus suffered the hell we deserved on the cross; in turn we enjoy God's love forever in heaven. Nothing else in life matters as much as this—the Main Thing!
At Gethsemane the Main Thing drives everything we do. Driven by gratitude to Christ we strive to follow God's guide for daily living, to reach out to our friends and families with the Main Thing, and to reach out to the community.
